What CARMOLIS is and what it is used for:

CARMOLIS, oral drops, solution, dermal solution, steam inhalation solution. It is traditionally used as a mild herbal medicine.

Properties: CARMOLIS when administered orally has a calming, relaxing and antispasmodic effect on the stomach, sedative for nervous excitement, beneficial for sleep disorders, vegetative manifestations during menopause and travel sickness, stimulates digestion and has a diuretic effect. In mild inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract and cold CARMOLIS, after inhaling the vapors, has a swelling effect on the mucous membrane and immediately feels relief from breathing. The stimulating effect on the dew after application on the skin causes relief from pain in the muscles and limbs in rheumatoid arthritis, neuritis, neuralgia, headache, itchy skin from insect bites.
Indications: For application to the skin in:
- pain in the muscles and limbs in rheumatoid arthritis, neuritis, neuralgia
- headache
- itchy skin from insect bites.
- mild inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract and colds.
Oral use in:
- gastrointestinal disorders - nausea, indigestion such as gas, heaviness in the abdomen, loss of appetite
- tension, irritability, sleep disturbances, nervous conditions during menopause, nausea during travel.
Before using CARMOLIS: Do not take CARMOLIS:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of the product
- if you have narrowing of the bile ducts, inflammation of the gallbladder, liver disease and ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract
- in children, if they are under 12 years of age
Take special care with CARMOLIS:
- if you suffer from gallstone disease
- when you have liver disease or are an alcoholic, epileptic, have organic brain damage, are pregnant or breast-feeding, as this medicine contains 65% alcohol. Following the dosing instructions, up to 0.54 g of alcohol enters the body with each intake. For this reason, there is a risk of damage to health in these patients.
Pregnancy: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. CARMOLIS should not be used during pregnancy.
Breast-feeding: Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. CARMOLIS should not be used during breast-feeding.
Driving and using machines: This medicinal product contains 65% alcohol by volume. Following the dosing instructions, up to 0.54 g of alcohol enters the body with each intake.
Do not drive or use any equipment or machines in case of overdose, as the ability to drive and use machines may be adversely affected.
Using other medicines: Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription, as CARMOLIS may reduce or increase the effect of other medicines you are taking at the same time.


How to use CARMOLIS:

Always use CARMOLIS exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The usual dose is up to 5 times a day for 10-20 drops on sugar, in hot tea or water. When applied topically, CARMOLIS is applied several times a day to the painful area. Inhalations, 20 drops of CARMOLIS are added to hot water or tea, then the vapors are inhaled and drunk.
Dosage for special applications: For gas, feeling of heaviness in the abdomen, disorders of the digestive system 10-20 drops of CARMOLIS are taken with hot tea, water or sugar.
nervous sleep disorders: 10-20 drops of CARMOLIS are added to a cup of tea or sweetened hot water
Travel Diseases: In case of nausea, a few drops of CARMOLIS on sugar have a calming and relaxing effect.

Itchy skin, insect bites: Cover the affected areas with CARMOLIS without rubbing.
After rubbing CARMOLIS, wash your hands thoroughly!
Avoid contact with eyes!
If you take or take more than the required dose of CARMOLIS: No cases of overdose have been reported. But at possible contact with the eyes or in case of overdose in the facial area, may cause unpleasant burning in the eyes. If necessary, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. The burning disappears after a short time.
If you forget to take or administer CARMOLIS: Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
